Apply to join my Advance Reader Circle for the chance to read new stories before they’re released. Selected readers will receive early access, exclusive previews, and a closer look at each story as it develops from first draft to finished book.
Because early readers help shape the work before it reaches the public, this circle is intentionally selective. I’m looking for thoughtful readers who are willing to offer honest feedback, engage with the stories seriously, and help each release become stronger before it goes out into the world. Obviously, there is no cost for AR's to copies supplied to them.
To become a trusted advisor, complete the AR Application listed below. If you have additional questions, I've included an AR FAQ section, as well.
Thank you once again. You've no idea how much I appreciate your consideration and support.
Frequently Asked AR Questions
What is an Advance Reader?
An Advance Reader is someone who receives early access to my stories before they are officially released. In return, selected readers may offer thoughtful feedback, reactions, and, when appropriate, honest reviews after publication.
Is this the same as a beta reader?
Not exactly. A beta reader usually reads a draft and gives detailed story feedback before publication. An Advance Reader may receive early or preview access, but the focus is broader: reader reaction, honest impressions, launch support, and helping shape future releases.
Do I have to pay to join?
No. There is no fee to apply or participate.
Does applying guarantee I’ll be selected?
No. The Advance Reader Circle is selective so I can work with readers who are a strong fit for the stories and the tone of the work.
What kind of stories will I be reading?
My stories are romantic, sensual, emotionally charged, and written for adult readers. Some stories may include erotic content, mature themes, and intimate scenes.
Do I have to be 18 or older?
Yes. Because the stories may include mature romantic and erotic content, Advance Readers must be 18 or older.
Do I have to leave a review?
Reviews are appreciated, but they should always be honest. Receiving an advance copy does not require a positive review. If you choose to review the book after release, your sincere opinion is what matters.
Where should I leave a review?
Helpful places include Amazon, Goodreads, Barnes & Noble, BookBub, Apple Books, Kobo, Google Books, or wherever you normally discuss books. You do not need to review everywhere.
Do I need a large social media following?
No. A large following is not required. Thoughtful readers are just as valuable as influencers. Social media links are helpful if you have them, but they are not required.
What kind of feedback are you looking for?
I’m looking for honest reader reactions: what pulled you in, what confused you, what felt emotionally true, what slowed the story down, and which moments stayed with you after reading.
Do I need to edit grammar or spelling?
No. You are not expected to act as a copy editor. Feedback on typos is welcome, but the main value is your honest experience as a reader.
How much time does this require?
It depends on the story. Some pieces may be short and only require a quick read and brief feedback. Others may ask for more detailed thoughts. I’ll be clear about expectations before sending anything.
Will I receive every story?
Not necessarily. Selection may depend on the project, the story, timing, and reader fit.
What format will the stories be sent in?
Stories may be sent digitally, usually as EPUB, PDF, or another reader-friendly format.
Can I share the story with someone else?
No. Advance copies and early drafts are private and should not be shared, copied, posted, or distributed.
Can I post excerpts online?
Not without permission. Short reactions are welcome, but unpublished excerpts, screenshots, or story text should not be posted publicly unless I specifically approve it.
Will my feedback be used in the final book?
Possibly. Reader feedback may influence revisions, presentation, marketing, or future story development. However, final creative decisions remain with the author.
Will I be added to your mailing list?
Only if you choose to be. Applying to the Advance Reader Circle does not automatically mean you are signing up for general author updates unless the form clearly gives you that option.
What happens after I apply?
I’ll review applications and contact selected readers when there is a good fit for an upcoming story or release.
What if I’m selected but can’t finish a story in time?
That’s okay. Life happens. Just let me know if you cannot complete a read by the requested date.
Can I leave the Advance Reader Circle later?
Yes. You can step away at any time. The goal is for this to feel enjoyable and meaningful, not like an obligation.
